BlackBelt Throwing Program
(Accuracy + Velocity)
See video on homepage
This program is designed for everyone who plays baseball and softball because everyone throws the ball and everyone need to be accurate.
This program is based on the martial arts system of increased levels of difficulty with definable goals and achievement levels. Athletes are rewarded with T-Shirts instead of belts that they can wear with a sense of pride and achievement.
As the player moves up in difficulty, the zone to which they are throwing shrinks, with the blackbelt level player showing a mastery of hitting the glove. Each lesson consists of a 10 pitch sessions being repeated 3 times for a total of 30 pitches. The picutre above shows all the zones, during actual play, only the level the player is aspiring to achieve will show.
Reports are available showing the players that finish a session as a group, and individual reports are available showing all sessions thrown by a player and the result of each session.
Easy to Use Software Tracks Results for You
Simply select how many players are throwing (up to 4), choose the Pitching or Throwing Program. Player levels automatically show and reports tell players their level and the requirements to achieve the next level. Reports also tell you who moved up levels so you can award T-Shirts.
Choose Softball for Softball images instead of baseball.
Level I White Belt: the board is the focus point. Success is 7 out of 10 hits reaching both velocity and command benchmarks simultaneously for 2 of the 3 sessions.
The Throwing Program design allows for up to 6 players to throw an hour. Players warm up their arms, spend 30 minutes throwing at the K Zone in groups of 3, then stretch and cool down.
The program is designed for players to be occupied for 1 hour for each session with warn up, tested throwing, and a cool down stretch period.
Players can throw as many times a week as they like, and they do not have to be in the same groups, information is sorted by player and records are kept for each individual player.
